The goal of “Van 4 Knowledge” is to help raise funds so that Holy Home Orphanage Uganda can purchase a van to drive the children of the orphanage to and from school safely.
The closest school the children are presently enrolled at is a 2 mile walk from the orphanage.
In the past 3 years Holy Home Orphanage Uganda have lost 3 children to road accidents on the way to and from the children’s school. Just recently in March they lost a young boy named Alex Mukisa who was hit by a motorcycle on his way to school.
This is urgent! As having a vehicle will help to minimise road accidents and keep the children safe on the way to and from school.
The cost for buying a van which seats 10 children is $5500.00 NZD
All donations received through this fundraiser will be going directly to the orphanage to help with the cost of purchasing the vehicle.
